SV Institut has created this Privacy Policy Statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy. This privacy policy explains our data collection and use practices. By using or accessing the website located at https://www.svinstitut.com (hereafter referred to as “SITE”), you signify your assent to our Privacy Policy.

The SITE provides information about the company, products, services and a means to contact SV Institut. We can be reached via email at hello@svinstitut.com. For each visitor to SITE, our web server may automatically recognize only the visitor’s domain name, but not the email address. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via email or register on or contact us through our website, aggregate information on what pages users access or visit, information volunteered by the user, such as survey information and/or site registrations, contact information such as name, address or telephone number, and, where applicable, resumes and/or cover letters or correspondence, as well as answers to online employment applications, which users may submit through SITE.
The information we collect is used to improve the content and layout of SITE, used to notify users about updates to SITE, and used for our internal employee recruiting purposes, and is used for our internal contact database purposes. We do not share users’ or clients’ contact information with other organizations for marketing purposes. By providing your email address to us, you expressly consent to receive emails from us. We may use email to communicate with you, to send information that you have requested or to send information about other products or services developed or provided by us. We will not give your email address to any third party to promote their products or services directly to you. You expressly consent to us storing your email address with an at a third party in order to process our communication with you.
Any communication or material you transmit to us by email or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and nonproprietary. Except to the extent expressly covered by this policy, anything you transmit or post may be used by us for any purpose, including but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting. Furthermore, you expressly agree that we are free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to us without compensation and for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products and services using such information.
If you do not want to receive any email from SV Institut in the future, please let us know by sending us an email at hello@svinstitut.com. If you supply us with your postal address online you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by sending us an email at hello@svinstitut.com. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us regarding the request for information, contact request, or employment application they may have submitted online.
With respect to ad servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies for the purposes of serving ads on SITE. From time to time, we may use customer, visitor or user information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to SITE to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at SITE periodically. Users may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by sending an email to the above email address. Upon request we provide SITE visitors with access to contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them, a description of information that we maintain about them. Users can access this information by emailing us at the above email address. Upon request, we offer users the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in contact information or communications that the user has directed to SITE. Users can have this information corrected by sending us email at the above address.
With respect to cookies: We may use both persistent or temporary cookies to record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit on SITE, and record past activity at SITE in order to provide better service when visitors return to SITE. We may, in the future, also use cookies to customize user experiences with SITE.

Data privacy statement for Facebook
SITE uses the “Like” button from facebook.com. This service is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The button is marked with the Facebook logo and the words “Like” or “Liked”. You can find an overview of Facebook’s “Plugins” here.
When users visit a web page on our SITE that contains the button, the browser connects directly with the Facebook servers. Facebook thus receives the information that someone has called the corresponding page of our SITE. Users are logged in at this moment in parallel with Facebook so Facebook can assign the call to the respective Facebook account – even if the button is not clicked. If the user clicks the “Like” button, the corresponding information from the user’s browser is also transmitted directly to Facebook and stored there. Information on the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of data by Facebook, and your settings for the protection of privacy are explained in the privacy policies of Facebook. Data privacy statement for Google Analytics
On SITE Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), is installed and used. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help SITE analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of SITE (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymise the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of SITE provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of SITE, compiling reports on SITE activity for SITE operators and providing other services relating to SITE activity and internet usage to SITE provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this SITE. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available here.

Please note that on this SITE, Google Analytics code is supplemented by “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking).
We utilize the remarketing function of Google to publish our advertisements. This allows us to display our advertisements within the Google Display network to just those Internet users that have visited our SITE. However, in order to utilize this function we have to use small text files called cookies. These are saved on your computer, but they do not contain any kind of personal information. These cookies are used by the Google Display network to deliver our advertisements to you in the form of text or image ads. You do have the possibility to deactivate cookies used for advertising purposes. This is possible with the help of the Ad Preference manager of Google or, alternatively, via the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative.
Data privacy statement for LinkedIn
SITE also uses plugins of the social network LinkedIn, which is operated by the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “LinkedIn”). You will recognise the LinkedIn plugins from the LinkedIn logo or the “Recommend button” on our site. By accessing our SITE, the plugin will create a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server. This will inform LinkedIn that you have visited our SITE with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn “Recommend button” while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our SITE to your LinkedIn profile. This allows LinkedIn to assign the visit to our SITE to your user account. Please note that as the owner of SITE, we do not receive any knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of how it is used by LinkedIn.
Data privacy statement for Twitter
Furthermore, SITE uses the plugins Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter “Twitter” called). These are recognizable by the Twitter logo, a blue bird on a light background. By including the “Tweet” button, Twitter receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our SITE. You are logged in to Twitter, Twitter can assign your visit to your Twitter account. When selecting the Tweet button, a connection to a Twitter server is made by Twitter. If you are logged into Twitter, you can now directly “tweet” our link. Data privacy statement for Pinterest
SITE also uses the “Pin It” button of the social media network “Pinterest”, which is operated by the Pinterest, Inc., 808 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (hereinafter “Pinterest” called).
By including the “Pin it” button Pinterest receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged on Pinterest, Pinterest can additionally assign your visit to your Pinterest account.
The data sent by clicking the “Pin it” buttons will be saved by Pinterest. If you want to prevent this you have to logout from your Pinterest account before clicking on the “Pin it” button.

Data privacy statement for Google+
SITE uses plug-ins operated by the social network “Google+”. These programs are exclusively operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”). The plugin is made clearly visible on our website through the add-on “+1” on white or colored background.
When clicking on named plugin, your browser will establish a direct link with the servers operated by Google+; as a result the content of the plugin will be transferred to your browser and embedded in the website being shown.
The fact that you have visited our website will be passed on to Google. In the case that you visit our website whilst you are signed into your Google+ user account, Google+ can assign your visit to our website to your user account. Information arising from interaction with the Google+ plugins (such as by clicking the “+1” button or by leaving a comment) will be directly transferred to and stored by Google. SV Institut has no impact upon the data Google collects with named plugin.
To prevent this you must log out of your Google+ account before visiting our website.
